REVENUES AND BENEFITS OFFICER

GRADE 6 £31,015 - £33,119

We are looking for highly motivated Revenues and Benefits Officers to join the Revenues and Finance team dealing with administration of council tax, benefits and the Crisis Resilience Fund. Working as part of a busy team, you will require previous experience of dealing with difficult situations over the phone or on a face-to-face basis and working accurately and efficiently within allotted time scales

Knowledge of and previous experience in the processing of council tax, housing benefit, localised council tax support and Crisis Resilience payments would be advantageous, as well as experience in the use of the NEC revenues and benefits software system.

You must have the ability to always maintain client confidentiality and have the ability to handle sensitive issues in a professional and courteous manner.
