A highly organised and enthusiastic individual is required to provide administrative and technical support to the Building Control Team.
This is a varied and interesting role involving a wide range of duties including checking the validity of submitted Building Regulations applications and fees, taking telephone payments, dealing with customers over the telephone and face-to-face enquiries from service users. The successful candidate will support the Local Authority’s readiness for the implementation of the new Building Safety Levy processes, and the administration of this when it launches in Autumn 2026.
