Environmental Health Officer (Commercial Safety)

Grade 8-9 £27,741 - £33,782

Wyre Council is looking for an experienced and driven Environmental Health Officer with experience in food safety enforcement. The post holder will be reporting to the Food, Health & Safety and Licensing manager.

The post holder will have excellent interpersonal skills together with sound technical knowledge of relevant legislation. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.

A food safety enforcement officer with the higher certificate in food premises inspection will also be considered for this position, however a salary bar is set at the top of grade 8 until the post holder can demonstrate competence to undertake Health and Safety inspections as well.
